Six Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration from Festina
Celebrate Jubilee with Open House
Six Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA) from Festina, Iowa, will
be celebrating their jubilees with an open house in their hometown. The celebration
will take place on Sunday, August 10, beginning with the 9:00 a.m. parish Mass
at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church in Festina. An open house at the Parish Center
will immediately follow the Mass until 3:00 p.m.
Jubilee marks the anniversary of a sister's entrance into vowed religious life.
The sisters from Festina celebrating their jubilees are:
50 years in August 2008
Sister Helen Elsbernd
Sister Maryam Gossling
Sister Marian Massman
50 years in August 2009
Sister Joan Hageman
60 years in August 2008
Sister Marcella Hackman
Sister Phyllis Ann Hackman
