Music

For the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, music is a ministerial form of worship and connection to community that spans centrally from St. Rose Convent in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to around the world. Many of the sisters have ministered in music education, giving private lessons and teaching in schools and parishes across the country. A number of FSPAs have played professionally in orchestras and even conducted them. It doesn’t take long to be struck by the echoing melodies of voices resonating from the Maria Angelorum Chapel during a visit to St. Rose Convent. These sounds immediately instill a sense of peace and reflection, one that resembles a return to home.
