FSC community quilt: we need your help!
06/01/25
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Franciscan Spirituality Center has launched a community quilt project.
All are invited to stop by the FSC registration desk to pick up a blank quilt square. You can embellish or decorate it any way you like. Please return your completed square by June 1. Sister Sharon Berger will then combine the squares to make a beautiful quilt to be unveiled at a special event on Sept. 22.
The Franciscan Spirituality Center has so much to celebrate! They are grateful for your prayers and support and look forward to serving you for many more decades to come.
Ideas:
- Write a prayer, blessing or words of gratitude as you consider the gift that the FSC has been for you and many others.
- Draw, paint or stitch ... the possibilities are endless!
A few guidelines:
- Please keep your design within the sewing line.
- You're welcome to use whatever medium works best for you. The FSC art room has lots of supplies, including fabric markers.
- Three-dimensional accents are welcome as long as they allow for sewing.
- Please sign your name somewhere on your square.
- Have fun, be creative and ask if you have any questions or need assistance.
- Invite others to decorate a square as well.
