Ho-Chunk Founders Day Powwow
03/29/25
FSPA's Truth, Justice & Healing Team is once again a cosponsor of the Ho-Chunk Founders Day Powwow. This year's event is March 29 at the La Crosse Center. Grand Entries are scheduled for noon and 7 p.m. (with entertainment and vendors scheduled all day).
If you've never attended one, powwows are celebrations of life and festive gatherings to show off Native American culture and dance. And yes, they welcome all! Non-Natives are welcome to attend and experience the cultural celebrations and traditions. Last year was the first Founders Day Powwow in La Crosse and with thousands in attendance!
This is one of several events that FSPA collaborates together with the Ho-Chunk Nation. We'll cosponsor the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Walk on May 5, the Indigenous Film Series at the Rivoli (dates TBA) and Indigenous Peoples' Day on Oct. 13.
