The spiritual practice of writing can be a journey from a blank page to a state of wonder. This writing workshop will explore best practices for the craft of spiritual writing. Participants will consider how writing can be a form of spiritual exploration and reverence, no matter which religious tradition or spirituality influence the writer’s message.

Sister Julia Walsh is a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration who ministers as a vocation minister and spiritual companion. As an author and educator, she speaks about topics such as the Catholic faith, creativity, spirituality, and community life. Sister Julia hosts the Messy Jesus Business blog and podcast and is the author of For Love of the Broken Body: A Spiritual Memoir.
