Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse recently hosted its annual Lenten luncheon, honoring Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Catherine Kaiser with the “In My Name Award."
Calling her to the podium, Catholic Charities Advancement Director Rob Grover said, “This year’s ‘In My Name’ award recipient is a woman who constantly reminds us through her actions that the WHY of what we do at Catholic Charities is just as important as WHAT.”
Accepting the honor, Sister Catherine shared inspiring words about her experiences. She emphasized the importance of family and community, drawing from personal stories from her childhood to stories from graduate school.
Several FSPA were in attendance and gave a blessing.
Congratulations to Sister Catherine on this well-deserved award!
