FSPA maintains a strong relationship with the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis, who are working to reduce malnutrition among children and the elderly in Cameroon. In an article published on Global Sisters Report, Tertiary Sister of St. Francis Felicitas Asoh shares her 50-year journey of caring for malnourished children. She discovered an effective method to treat malnutrition by combining locally sourced grains and foods. Sister Felicitas shares, “So, wherever I have worked, I looked for natural grains and other foods produced in that area that would bring children back to health.”

The work of the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis is truly inspiring. Sister Felicitas’ impact on countless Cameroonian lives is incredible and will continue to grow.
